About this scrapbook page:
This is my autistic son, Xander. I had an idea that we should have a simple gesture to indicate to others that we are with an autistic person and need speacial allowances and understanding. Also, a nonverbal autistic person could communicate that they were autistic. And we could say hi to other caregivers we recognise in public with a gesture, like bikers who wave to each other on the road.
