I did this for PamelaRose's 'Make a Cross' challenge. I see the cross as an object of agony & the roses represent Christ's blood. But I have placed it in a peaceful setting as that's what faith brings!

I have very serious misgivings about symbolism of the 'cross'. It only became a popular symbol after Constantine's rule. That being said, I can interpret this as a beautiful and moving page of reflection and contemplation.
