I am new here and new to scrapbooking period digital or otherwise but I love photography and I've got a project in my head but can make it work on computer I am using Microsoft Digital Image suite 2006 w/ scanned images of my cousins daughters. Heres the time the Oldest (her stepdaughter) was killed in a car wreck 11 yrs ago just after her 1st daughter was born and now she has 2 girls who really only know their big sister thru photos and there dad's memory. I want to cut and paste her photo on an angel and fade it into the clouds (like she is looking over them)I need an angel pic I can put her face into and a back ground I can put the other to girls images at the bottom. Does this make since or am I spending too uch time w/ my 4yo and can't explain myself like an adult? Any help would be greatful and you'll get credit any way i can give it....bntyhuntress

It makes plenty of sense. I don't know what kind of angel you might want, but you can do an image search for angels using yahoo or google. Another idea is to just find some wings and put them on her and fade the whole picture, if you cannot find an angel you like.

You could also use a photo that has the two girls in it with a lot of sky above them and than put the angel above them...in other words us a photo as the background "paper".

Just want to let you know you have a good heart and I'm sure you'll do very well on your project. And completely understanding the comment on comunicating like your 4 year old, I'm at home with a 16month old and it's funny to hear someone say that.

Newbie here, and I need help! I'm trying to put together a scrapbook of the cats we've fostered for our local no-kill shelter. I have the pix saved in the "pictures" folder of my computer (I'm using Windows Vista). I open the "new project" tab, select a standard background, but when I click on "add an image" and the menu drops, it won't open the pictures folder. What gives?
I've been able to upload the pix to Photobucket, and when i open the folder from my start menu, I have no problem, so I *know* the pix are there. Is this project doomed?
