For gypsykate's "Quick Fix" challenge. The question asked is: What do you do to lift your spirits when you are feeling down or sad or depressed, etc.? The thing I do is SLEEP. And sleep. And sleep. Over time, I've learned that if I just give it a day or two, everything will look brighter.

This photo was taken the year that Nancy first left the States to move to Vietnam. We had had a family reunion in New York. And on the way home, some of us stopped in Lancaster to shop. When I was coming out of an antique store, I stepped off the sidewalk into a hole and fell and sprained my ankle. This is how I looked when I got back to my sister's. Couldn't wait to get on that sofa! Photo edited in Fotosketcher.
