Yes Madeline for the sake of this challenge I will class all birds as animals so a swan will be fine. I suppose technically they aren't but who cares!!!!! :) :)

Technically they are Joce LOL :) so you aren't breaking any rules. All living things are classified as either plants or animals in Biology. So technically we too are animals :)

Thanks Lee. Yes I know we are animals but the birds thing has always been a bone of contention. A few years ago I got into all sorts of problems in a challenge I was running because I allowed people to post pages with birds in - many claimed they didn't fit the animal requirements - needless to say I left them in!!!!! I've always classed them as animals - animals with wings!! :) :)
