Hi Xena, I voted and always do. Now, that I join challenges I do even more. Lots of work, when there's lots of people in the challenges. It's time consuming for me any ways. I really don't care much about it, I'm used to it & of not having enough points or comments from others in my pages. I never won and I think I will never win. So no big loss for me. But I understand what you mean when challenges are such big effort and lots of work and when people don't vote it can be discouraging. What are challenges for if there's no points to go with it right? :)

I agree with you Maria - the voting has been very low in many challenges. I am not sure what the problem is but I don't think anything is going to be achieved by having the same attitude as others and not voting. I never vote at the beginning of a challenge. I prefer to wait until almost all the entries are in so that I can see the standard of the entries and then vote according to the merit of each one. I don't vote 10 for everyone because then what is the point of the challenge? - everyone would just get the same score. People are leaving this site at an alarming rate and I think it is because they feel that there is still a lot people only coming on here to support a specific friend and not even commenting on any one else's pages so it makes entering challenges meaningless. It is not about being a community and supporting each other, as it should be, instead it has become a case of closed circles who only support one another.

Dear scrapping lee, I too I think it's not because of what you say here dear: : --I think it is because they feel that there is still a lot people only coming on here to support a specific friend and not even commenting on any one else's pages so it makes entering challenges meaningless:--
*I think people are just not interested in making the effort. I see lots of people who vote like myself when I do join challenges and I too do not get the same courtesy I deserve. This has been happening for a long time. I know challenges suppose to be fun & what not, but I feel that like myself I should only vote for those who do the same it's only fair to me any ways, but I don't. I don't like to speak for others, but I have also seen some great voters & their friends, like myself who do vote & still they get no response or courtesy from people who have been here a very long time. Either way, you should not just see only one way & do see how much our dedication & effort come into play. Hugs

*That's why I don't join challenges often, nor I want to. I do support my dear friends instead; of course dear. At times I do not give my vote, sincere about it, but I still make the effort even if "some" do not deserve it. A challenge to me is three things: comment/vote/friendship, when people do respect the rule of 3 then a challenge is complete. I have been here long enough to learn that!
But bare with me here, but for those who do not scrap/post everyday, I cannot say much for those, for they do not know what's happening. LOL In all I think I did say what I want to say, more or less. No matter what the reason is Lee, I still stand to say: the 3 challenge rules applies no matter what if you here long enough or just a novice! Have a wonderful week, let's have fun!

LiuTai I hear what you are saying and agree that members of a challenge should comment, vote and offer friendship and I have the same experience as you do. I try very hard to comment and vote on every page in a challenge that I both host and join. I can name many people that I see have commented on other pages and who I have commented on and voted for but I have never seen a comment on one of my pages and I consider myself a loyal member and spend a lot of time here. I join almost every challenge possible and yet don't get the support from the "friends" of certain members. It is very evident that certain people only vote for a friend when there is a difference of more than 100 points between the page placed first and then the one placed second,. This is not fair and puts many people off because why bother to vote when you know who will come first just because she has joined and has her own private fan club who vote only for her.

This is not only my opinion. It has been brought up and discussed in the forums before and it upsets many members. I fear our much loved site is slowly dying because of unfair practices which make people turn away and find sites where this unfairness cannot happen. I trust you will have a good week xxx
