I did this for a challenge - my favorite story from childhood - but it was so hard to choose! This IS Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm. Then there's Pollyanna, and Anne of Green Gables - not to mention going way back Milly Molly Mandy :) And Amelia Jane Books, and What Katy Did. Somehow - I always I dentified with orphans and those getting into mischief.
