ANZAC Day (Australia & New Zealand Army Corps) is held on 25th April to honour those who have served or are still serving in the defences forces
It began during WW1 in honour of those who fought and died in Gallipoli. Services are held in all major cities and towns and in most rural towns even if there are only a few dozen people there.
