ATLANTA, April 22, 2006 – Aurora Digital Imaging today announced plans to launch a unique community web site that will make it easy to create and share digital scrapbooks. The site – www.ScrapbookFlair.com – will be the first of its kind and offer free scrapbooking software, which previously sold for $29.95.
“ScrapbookFlair will take photo sharing to new level and open the hugely popular craft of scrapbooking to the digital community,” said Mark Vander Berg, Aurora's chief marketing officer. “Since scrapbooks and sharing go hand-in-hand, an interactive, feature-rich, community environment is essential.”
Registering to become a member of ScrapbookFlair will be free. Each community site member will have a home page, message center, and gallery for showcasing their scrapbooks – publicly or privately – to an unlimited number of family, friends or colleagues. In addition to countless scrapbook galleries, ScrapbookFlair will feature forums, blogs, and groups that can discuss and compare scrapbooks with one another. Digital scrapbookers will also be able to become “friends” or “fans” of other ScrapbookFlair members, initiating a continuing dialogue.
