Back to our holiday images of the Coromandel. I probably still have a 1/2 dozen pages to go but the end is in sight LOL. This bay was named after a cute wee NZ bird the fantail which flits around the forest fringes. We often come across them at home when we walk around the river that boarders our property. DOC stands for Department of Conservation & they run basic camping sites in a lot of the National reserves. Cold water showers & Long Drop toilets.
