I regret that I can't be as actively involved as I would like during the term but I try to pop in most weekends and catch up. Thank you to everyone who makes this site such a special place and who so generously share of themselves. That is the beauty of being part of this scrapping family. The icons are the cherry on the cake but the cake tastes just as good without them. :)

I also found it very difficult when I first joined to get votes and comments but with time one builds friendships and when I started taking part in the challenges I found that the number of votes and comments I got on my pages increased. I have won many little icons and I appreciate each one of them but that is not the reason I create pages and join challenges. I love the friendship and support.

Thanks Linda for taking the bull by the horns and saying it as it is. When I first joined I read about some of the issues you have brought up in the forums but I didn't really experience much of it happening. Recently though there has been a return of members that I had never heard of and suddenly there are numerous other "members" crawling out of who knows where in support of them.
